Upgraded design - features a lower temperature thermostatic valve and a stainless snap ring to eliminate common issues with OE bypass valves for specified vehicles
On certain Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles, the automatic transmission cooler bypass valve's thermostat can fail, causing transmission cooling issues. This new bypass valve features a revised thermostat that opens at a lower temperature than the OE, allowing transmission fluid to begin circulating through the cooler at lower temperatures to help improve longevity, performance, and safety. This bypass valve also features a stainless snap ring to eliminate corrosion issues with the OE's failure-prone snap ring.
